Green Man Festival

To be a part of the largest music and arts festival, you need to be at the Brecon Beacons in Wales, the atmosphere is laid back and the music is diverse and amazing. This festival is quite popular amongst the families. There is a particular area where both the kids and the parents can be a part of different activities and workshops. And there is a camping area for the families as well. Located in a natural grass amphitheatre, you will surely enjoy the performances by some of the popular artists at The Main Stage against the beautiful backdrop of Sugar Loaf Mountain.

The Big Feastival

It is a three-day family-friendly festival and it takes place on Alex James farm in Kingham. Founded by Jamie Oliver, it is a popular event and it is also known for its vibrant food outlets, awesome live music, and some of the best chefs including – Tom Kerridge, Raymond Blanc, and Nadiya Hussain giving live demonstrations for the attendees. This year, you will see Dick & Dom (British Comedians) performing at this event. The kids will get to enjoy a long list of fun activities and games on the farm.

Wilderness

I have been to this festival; I must admit that it is a must-visit for the families out there. This is more than just a music festival and you along with your kids get to enjoy a feast of art, music, food, and nature. As the name is self-suggestive, this is one festival that offers the family to shake-off all their strain & stress of their day to day lives. Both the kids and the parents can indulge in varied activities including swimming, bushcraft, and circus skills. Wilderness is believed to be a haven for foodies as well.

Strawberry Fair

Probably one of the major attractions of this event is that it is totally free. This music and arts festival is run by volunteers and it amazingly attracts more than 20,000 visitors in a day. The fair mainly concentrates on the families and there is a separate kid’s area (completely fenced) where the kids can take part in varied activities. You will find over 200 food stalls and various other goods from around the world. The fair has two bars, cabaret, acoustic tent, green area, and two main stages.

Good Life Experience Festival

This festival is relatively new but it has become quite popular amongst the families. The festival mainly focuses on the craftsmanship and other ancient skills. This festival also celebrates outdoor living, books, food and drink, and music. Good Life Experience Festival also features talks from some of the popular explorers and TV personalities, so you can expect much more than just a regular music festival.
